Vanguard Investments Canada has completed the liquidation of its Vanguard Global Minimum Volatility ETF (VVO), officially terminating the fund on November 3, 2026. The closure, initially announced in August, follows a broader product review aimed at refining Vanguard's Canadian ETF lineup. The fund's final net asset value was established at C$43.2473 per unit, with a final notional distribution of C$1.2665 per unit. The notional distribution was automatically reinvested and consolidated without changing the number of units held by investors. Remaining shareholders will receive liquidation proceeds based on the final NAV, after accounting for liabilities and expenses, through a one-time payment expected around November 4, 2026. No action is required from investors, bringing the fund's operations to a close.
