VegaShares has filed for an actively managed ETF designed to generate income through a laddered portfolio of synthetic equity-linked autocallable notes, targeting annualized contingent coupons of 10%. The VegaShares SEI US Equity Autocallable 10% Target Income ETF would use total return swaps to track an index comprising 52 autocallables with staggered maturity dates and monthly coupon observations. Each note references one of 16 NYSE U.S. 500 Target Volatility+ indices, targeting volatility levels between 20% and 35%. Coupons are payable when the underlying index remains above a 60% barrier, while notes may be automatically redeemed if specified performance thresholds are met. Principal protection is conditional, with investors exposed to underlying losses if the 60% barrier is breached at maturity. The strategy aims to diversify entry points and reduce timing risk, while allocating residual assets to Treasury securities, cash equivalents, and box spreads.
