BNP Paribas Asset Management has secured French wealth manager La Financière de l’Échiquier (LFDE) as the first client for its new ETF white-label platform. Through the Irish-registered UniGate ICAV, BNP Paribas AM has registered the LFDE Active ETF – Global Enhanced Climate Transition Equity UCITS ETF, marking €25bn LFDE’s debut in Europe’s ETF market and building on its active management and climate-transition expertise. The launch intensifies competition in ETF white labelling, where rival Amundi has already partnered with ING, Laiqon, Apobank and Finanzen.net.
