William Blair has scheduled a shareholder vote on a proposal to reorganize the William Blair Emerging Markets Debt Fund into the William Blair Emerging Income ETF. The special meeting will be held on September 23, 2026, with shareholders asked to approve the conversion of the mutual fund into an exchange-traded fund structure. If approved, investors will receive shares of the new ETF equal in value to their mutual fund holdings, subject to cash payments for fractional shares. The proposed reorganization is intended to provide continued exposure to the strategy through a more flexible and exchange-traded vehicle.
