WEBs to Liquidate Entire 11-Fund Defined Volatility ETF Lineup

WEBs ETF Trust will close and liquidate all 11 Defined Volatility ETFs, covering every major U.S. equity sector through exposures tied to XLE, XLB, XLI, XLY, XLP, XLV, XLF, XLK, XLC, XLU and XLRE. The funds are designed to provide sector-specific defined-volatility strategies. Following the board’s approval, trading and new creations will cease after August 26, 2026, with liquidation scheduled for August 31. Investors who do not redeem beforehand will automatically receive their proportionate share of each fund’s net assets, potentially creating tax consequences in taxable accounts.
