State Street to Liquidate Nuveen Municipal Bond ETF in February 2027

State Street Global Advisors will liquidate the State Street Nuveen Municipal Bond ETF following an August 19, 2026 board decision recommended by adviser SSGA Funds Management. The ETF will cease trading and stop creating and redeeming creation units after February 17, 2027, with liquidation scheduled around February 23. Investors may sell shares before the trading cutoff, but secondary-market liquidity is not assured thereafter. During the wind-down, the fund may increase cash holdings and deviate from its municipal bond investment strategy. Remaining shareholders will receive cash distributions based on net asset value, including any undistributed income and capital gains. Liquidation proceeds may trigger taxable gains or losses. The filing also references February 24, 2026 as the distribution date, an apparent error given the 2027 liquidation schedule.
