Ex-Amundi ETF Chief Backs ETPLink’s Push Into Tokenized ETFs

ETPLink has appointed former Amundi and Lyxor ETF chief Arnaud Llinas to its board of directors as the London-based ETF infrastructure platform accelerates its international expansion. Llinas also participated as an angel investor in the company's latest funding round, co-led by Qube Research & Technologies and Jump Trading, bringing total funding to $7 million. ETPLink uses distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, and API connectivity to streamline ETF creation and redemption processes between issuers, authorized participants, custodians, and transfer agents. The company plans to deploy the new capital toward product development and expansion across Europe and Asia-Pacific, while exploring infrastructure for tokenized ETFs. The investment follows a partnership with HANetf, Apex Group, and The Royal Mint to automate settlement processes for physical gold and carbon ETCs.
