AllianceBernstein Hires Citi ETF Veteran to Accelerate European Expansion

AllianceBernstein has appointed Sharon Duah as European ETF Specialist as the $906 billion asset manager looks to accelerate the expansion of its UCITS ETF business. Based in London, Duah joins from Citi, where she spent nearly a decade as Director of EMEA ETF Sales and Business Development. She brings almost 20 years of financial industry experience, including previous roles in ETF sales trading and delta one trading at RBS and Nomura. The appointment follows AllianceBernstein's European ETF debut in April 2026, with the firm planning to rapidly expand its initial product range. It also builds on the earlier recruitment of former BlackRock executive Paul Donahoe to lead global ETF operations, reinforcing the firm's investment in distribution and operational capabilities as it scales its European ETF platform.
