State Street to Liquidate Two Kensho Thematic ETFs in February 2027

State Street will close and liquidate the SPDR S&P Kensho Intelligent Structures ETF and SPDR S&P Kensho Smart Mobility ETF following an August 20 board decision. Both funds will stop trading and creating or redeeming shares after February 17, 2027, before liquidating around February 23. During the wind-down, portfolios will increasingly move into cash and may deviate from their investment strategies. Remaining shareholders are expected to receive cash distributions at NAV around February 24, with proceeds generally resulting in a taxable capital gain or loss.
