UBS is liquidating three bond ETF sub-funds covering Chinese government debt, eurozone ESG government bonds and global green bonds. The affected Borsa Italiana trading lines are CIB, GEB, GGB and GGE, with the latter two representing separate share classes of the same global green bond fund. Trading was suspended on October 20, followed by delisting on October 21. The sub-funds are scheduled for termination on October 30, with compulsory redemption proceeds expected around November 6. Unlike exchange-specific delistings where funds continue operating elsewhere, these are actual fund liquidations. The closures illustrate continued product rationalization within Europe's fixed-income ETF market.
