State Street Takes Equity Stake in Texas Stock Exchange Parent TXSE Group

State Street has made an equity investment in TXSE Group, the parent company of the Texas Stock Exchange, joining a group of institutional backers that includes BlackRock, Charles Schwab, Citadel Securities, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America. The investment strengthens TXSE's institutional support as it seeks to introduce greater competition and choice in U.S. equity markets. State Street, which manages approximately $2.3 trillion in ETF assets as of September 30, 2026, and is the world's largest ETF servicer, brings significant expertise in ETF management, custody, fund accounting and creation and redemption infrastructure. The investment also underscores the growing importance of Texas as a financial services and capital markets hub.
