Scotia Global Asset Management will increase direct ETF exposure in its Essentials Portfolios to at least 51% of net assets by March 31, 2027, combining active fixed income ETFs, active and index-tracking equity ETFs, and active mutual funds. The four portfolios will adopt “ETF Portfolio” names around October 30, while retaining their investment objectives, target asset mixes and risk profiles. Management fees on selected series will fall by 10–25 basis points around November 1. Series F and FT fees will range from 0.45% for Income to 0.80% for Maximum Growth. Separately, Scotia Partners Portfolios will close to new investors on October 30, while existing holders can continue adding to their investments.
