Goldman Sachs has launched the Goldman Sachs Alpha Enhanced World ex USA Equity Active UCITS ETF on European Exchanges, offering investors actively managed exposure to companies outside the U.S. The ETF is available in accumulating and distributing share classes, trading under GQWX and GQU respectively, with both carrying a 0.25% TER. The strategy uses Goldman Sachs’ quantitative investment model to identify attractive stocks based on a combination of valuation, quality, momentum and market sentiment factors. Rather than simply tracking a market-cap-weighted index, the portfolio actively adjusts its holdings based on these signals in an effort to generate excess returns.
