ProShares Launches Three Autocallable Income ETFs

ProShares launched three ETFs providing packaged access to autocallable strategies: the S&P 500 Autocallable Income ETF (ACSP), Nasdaq-100 Autocallable Income ETF (ACQQ), and Russell 2000 Autocallable Income ETF (ACRT). Rather than owning autocallable notes directly, the funds primarily use swaps to track indexes replicating laddered portfolios of autocallables, with staggered maturities intended to diversify exposure and generate more consistent income. The funds target monthly distributions and use a 35% downside barrier; if the reference index finishes below that barrier at maturity, principal becomes fully exposed to its decline. Their indexes target 35% annualized volatility and can use up to 500% exposure when volatility is low, adding significant leverage and downside risk.
