UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Howard Capital Management launched the HCM Hedged Equity ETF (HAWG) on August 14, combining broad U.S. large-cap equity exposure with systematic options and the firm’s proprietary HCM-BuyLine quantitative model to manage risk across market cycles. The actively managed ETF invests at least 80% of assets in equities represented by S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100-style exposures, implemented through the Solactive US Large Cap and Solactive United States Technology 100 indexes. HAWG seeks long-term capital appreciation while using its options overlay and quantitative signals to potentially reduce downside risk during unfavorable market conditions.
