UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Ninepoint Partners is expanding its HighShares lineup with two TSX-listed ETFs combining equity exposure, covered calls and leverage of up to 33% to target high income and capital appreciation. The Enhanced U.S. Equity HighShares ETF (USHI) holds roughly 25 large-cap U.S. stocks across sectors and begins trading September 14, while the Enhanced Aerospace and Defense HighShares ETF (EDHI) targets global defense, aerospace, space and cybersecurity companies and launches September 15. Both offer twice-monthly distributions. USHI charges a 0.40% management fee and carries a medium-to-high risk rating, while EDHI charges 0.55% and is rated high risk.
