Artisan Partners Files for Four Active Equity ETF Share Classes

Artisan Partners has filed to introduce actively managed ETF share classes for four of its established strategies, with shares expected to trade on NYSE Arca. The proposed lineup includes Artisan Focus Fund (APFS), Global Equity Fund (APHX), Select Equity Fund (APNX) and Sustainable Emerging Markets Fund (APEM). The funds cover distinct approaches: APFS runs a concentrated, flexible equity strategy that can use options, shorts and leverage; APHX targets sustainable growth opportunities globally; APNX typically holds 20–30 undervalued US companies; and APEM focuses on emerging-market businesses while incorporating proprietary ESG assessments into valuations. Rather than launching entirely new strategies, the filings would bring Artisan’s active management into an ETF share-class structure, expanding how investors can access the firm’s existing investment approaches.
