Mackenzie Keeps ETF Strategy Intact After Portfolio Manager Exit

Man Group has hired Eric Woitscheck from DWS as it prepares to enter the European ETF market. Woitscheck, who most recently worked as an ETF capital markets associate at DWS, joins shortly after Man Group registered its first two UCITS ETFs with Ireland’s regulator: the Man Active Trend UCITS ETF and Man Active Infrastructure UCITS ETF. The move bolsters the hedge fund’s ETF expertise as it expands beyond its established trend-following strategies. Man Group already operates four US-listed ETFs, which have attracted $105m in assets since launching in 2025.
