JPMorgan Hires Scalable Co-Founder to Lead Retail Investing Expansion

JPMorgan Personal Investing has appointed Scalable Capital co-founder Simon Miller as Head of International Expansion, with an initial focus on UK growth before expanding across Europe. Miller spent more than a decade at Scalable, joining in 2015 and working across operations, client relations and wealth management before leading its European rollout. Most recently, he served as Head of Broker International at the Munich-based neobroker. His new role includes supporting JPMorgan Personal Investing’s next phase of UK growth through its brokerage service. The digital wealth platform, built primarily around ETF-based portfolios, emerged from the late-2025 rebranding of Nutmeg, which JPMorgan acquired in 2021. It offers automated portfolios tailored to retail investors’ risk profiles and is closely integrated with Chase, the bank’s digital consumer brand.
