L&G Names Global ETF Distribution Head as Assets Pass $30 Billion

L&G has appointed Ludovic Le Du as Global Head of ETF and Index Distribution as its ETF assets surpass $30 billion. Le Du joins from State Street Investment Management, where he led intermediary client coverage across Northern Europe, France, Belgium and Luxembourg. He brings nearly two decades of ETF experience, including roles at Source ETF and Lyxor Asset Management. Reporting to Laura Brown, Head of Public Markets Distribution, he will oversee international distribution and expansion across indexed, systematic and actively managed strategies. The appointment comes as L&G explores extending its ETF franchise beyond Europe into the U.S. and other markets, with a suite of active ETFs expected later this year. L&G said its ETF assets rose approximately 50% during the year. The firm manages $900 billion in index assets within a $1.6 trillion asset management business.
