Mackenzie Keeps ETF Strategy Intact After Portfolio Manager Exit
Mackenzie Investments said portfolio manager Tyler Hewlett will leave the firm on Oct.
Mackenzie Investments is raising the risk rating of the Mackenzie GQE Canada Low Volatility ETF from “Low to Medium” to “Medium,” effective around Aug. 25, 2026. The change follows Mackenzie’s regular review under the risk classification methodology prescribed by Canadian securities regulators. While the higher rating signals an updated assessment of the ETF’s risk profile, Mackenzie emphasized that there are no changes to the fund’s investment strategy.
