Leverage Shares has filed for two ETFs offering leveraged exposure to Westinghouse Electric, signaling plans to launch alongside the nuclear technology company’s anticipated IPO. The 2X Long Westinghouse Electric Daily ETF will target 200% of the stock’s daily return, while the 2X Short Westinghouse Electric Daily ETF will target -200%. Both are expected to begin trading on or around Westinghouse’s market debut and may initially face limited availability or liquidity in swaps, options and other derivatives. The products are designed for short-term trading rather than buy-and-hold investing, as daily resets and compounding can cause returns over longer periods to differ substantially from 2X or -2X the stock’s performance.
