UBS to Close Three Small ESG and Commodity ETFs
UBS Asset Management will close three ETFs over profitability and scalability concerns, with trading set to end on October 19.
Innovator Capital Management will close and liquidate the Innovator Uncapped Bitcoin 20 Floor ETF — Quarterly after its board determined liquidation was in shareholders’ best interests. The ETF will stop accepting new creation purchases after December 23, 2026, while exchange trading will continue through December 31 before the shares are halted and delisted. Investors still holding shares at the close of January 8, 2027 will receive cash representing their proportionate share of the fund’s net assets, subject to applicable withholding. The liquidation distribution may create tax consequences for investors holding shares in taxable accounts.
