flatexDEGIRO teams with DWS on two co-branded ETFs
flatexDEGIRO has partnered with DWS to develop two co-branded Xtrackers ETFs covering diversified global equities and euro bonds, according to Luxembourg registrations.
Hartford Funds plans to convert three existing mutual funds into newly created ETFs this October. Hartford Climate Opportunities Fund will become the Hartford Alpha Capture International Value ETF on October 16; Hartford International Equity Fund will become the Hartford Alpha Capture International Equity ETF on October 23; and The Hartford High Yield Fund will become the Hartford High Yield ETF on October 16. The reorganizations require no shareholder vote and are expected to be tax-free, aside from cash paid for fractional shares or certain liquidations. Hartford cited lower net expenses, intraday trading, greater holdings transparency and potential tax efficiency as benefits. Investors must hold shares in ETF-compatible brokerage accounts to receive the new ETFs; otherwise, holdings may be liquidated for cash or, for certain directly held retirement accounts, exchanged into The Hartford Short Duration Fund.
