Harbor Adds Six Quantitative AlphaEdge ETFs Across Mid and Small Caps

Harbor Capital has expanded its active ETF lineup with six AlphaEdge strategies using quantitative models that assess capital deployment, momentum, quality, risk and valuation while adapting portfolio positioning as market conditions change. The Harbor AlphaEdge Mid Cap Core ETF (AEMC) targets companies in the Russell Midcap capitalization range without a dedicated growth or value bias and typically holds 75–150 stocks. The Harbor AlphaEdge Mid Cap Growth ETF (AEMG) applies Harbor’s proprietary alpha scores alongside growth-oriented portfolio constraints and risk controls, also holding roughly 75–150 stocks. The Harbor AlphaEdge Mid Cap Value ETF (AEMV) emphasizes stocks identified as attractive through valuation analysis while maintaining value-focused constraints and diversified risk management. In small caps, the Harbor AlphaEdge Small Cap Core ETF (AESB) targets companies in the Russell 2000 capitalization range through systematic stock selection without an explicit style tilt and generally holds 75–200 stocks. The Harbor AlphaEdge Small Cap Growth ETF (AESG) combines expected-return rankings with growth-specific constraints to maintain a small-cap growth profile, while the Harbor AlphaEdge Small Cap Value ETF (AESL) applies valuation analysis and value-oriented portfolio controls to seek attractive small-cap opportunities. Together, the six launches provide investors with systematic active exposure across core, growth and value segments of the mid- and small-cap markets.
