UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Hedgeye Asset Management has launched the Hedgeye Hedged Bitcoin ETF (HBIT), an actively managed fund seeking Bitcoin-linked growth with lower volatility and downside risk. HBIT invests at least 80% of assets in Bitcoin-related investments, primarily spot Bitcoin ETPs such as iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT), rather than holding Bitcoin directly. The fund uses put and call options guided by Hedgeye’s proprietary Risk Range Signals to manage risk, though these hedges may limit upside during Bitcoin rallies. The strategy also seeks to minimize taxable capital gain distributions.
