Fiduciary Management, Inc. has filed to launch the FMI U.S. Equity ETF, an actively managed fund investing at least 80% of its assets in U.S.-listed equities. The fund will maintain a concentrated portfolio of companies across market capitalizations, using fundamental analysis to identify high-quality businesses trading at attractive valuations. Its selection process favors companies with defensible competitive advantages, recurring revenues, strong returns on invested capital, and improving profitability prospects. Valuations are assessed using historical and forward-looking measures, both independently and relative to the broader market. Portfolio managers may sell holdings when valuations reach their potential, fundamentals deteriorate, or more attractive opportunities emerge. The strategy seeks above-average performance with below-average risk.
