Innovator to Liquidate Uncapped Bitcoin 20 Floor ETF in January
Innovator Capital Management will close and liquidate the Innovator Uncapped Bitcoin 20 Floor ETF — Quarterly after its board determined liquidation was in shareholders’ best interests.
Empowered Funds has amended the liquidation schedule for two Sophus Capital emerging-market ETFs. The Sophus Capital Emerging Market ETF (EMEM) is now expected to liquidate around October 14, 2026, with Nasdaq trading ending after October 13. The Sophus Capital Emerging Market Small Cap ETF (EMSC) is scheduled to liquidate around October 28, with trading ending after October 27. Ahead of closure, the funds may depart from their normal investment strategies and increase cash holdings. Remaining shareholders will receive pro-rata cash distributions after the respective liquidation dates, with proceeds generally treated as taxable transactions based on investors’ cost basis.
