DWS has appointed Nilesh Parmar as head of Middle East ETF sales, a newly created Abu Dhabi-based role that highlights the Gulf’s importance to the firm’s growth strategy. Parmar returns after previously working with the Xtrackers team and brings experience from Deutsche Bank, World Gold Council, WisdomTree and Namier Capital Partners. The hire follows DWS’ 2025 approval to open its first Abu Dhabi office and supports plans to deepen relationships with sovereign wealth funds, institutions and family offices as competition for Middle East ETF assets intensifies.
