UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Corton Capital has expanded its actively managed ETF lineup with two TSX offerings: the new Corton Rosenberg Global Macro Fund (ROSY/ROSY.U) and the public launch of the Corton Theta Alpha Fund (TPUT). ROSY uses an unconstrained global macro strategy across equities, bonds, currencies and commodities, seeking positive returns across market cycles while emphasizing capital preservation and consistent cash flow. TPUT, previously offered as a private pooled fund, transitioned to ETF units effective Aug. 28 and targets long-term capital appreciation and income. It primarily invests in listed North American securities while using fundamental, technical and quantitative analysis alongside an active written-options overlay. Corton serves as manager, trustee and promoter of both funds.
