Columbia Threadneedle Adds London Hires to Support Active ETF Push

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has hired Gianluca Di Mascio from Vanguard and Karan Bhanot from Legal & General Asset Management to strengthen its London-based research enhanced strategies team. The appointments support the firm’s expansion of active ETFs across the UK and Europe. Columbia Threadneedle launched its CT QR Series Active ETF range in Europe in November 2025, with four equity ETFs covering US, European, emerging and global markets. The strategies combine quantitative research with insights from more than 200 fundamental analysts.
