CoinShares to Liquidate Altcoins and Bitcoin-Ether ETFs in October

CoinShares will close and liquidate its Altcoins ETF and Bitcoin and Ether ETF after the funds’ board approved their dissolution on September 16. Both ETFs will stop accepting creation orders after October 20, 2026, with Nasdaq trading halted before the market opens on October 21. Investors can sell shares through the close on October 20; shareholders remaining on October 21 will have their positions automatically redeemed for cash at net asset value, with liquidation proceeds expected around the same date. During the wind-down, the ETFs may hold cash or securities outside their normal strategies. Redemptions may result in capital gains or losses for shareholders.
