Claremont Transfers Active Global Equity ETF to Montaka, Broadens Portfolio

Claremont Funds Management has agreed to transfer investment management of its Claremont Global Fund (Hedged) Active ETF to Sydney-based Montaka Global, a subsidiary of MFF Capital Investments. Launched in February 2024, the Australian-listed fund will adopt Montaka's Global Long Only Strategy, retaining its quality-value investment approach while expanding diversification from 10–15 holdings to 15–30. The fund will also be renamed Montaka Global Investment Fund (Hedged) and continue targeting long-term capital growth through currency-hedged global equities, seeking to outperform the MSCI World Net Total Return Index (Hedged to AUD) over rolling five-year periods, net of fees. Claremont co-portfolio manager Adam Chandler will join Montaka, working alongside Andrew Macken and David Costello. The changes remain subject to regulatory approval.
