Fidelity to Liquidate Five ETFs in November

Fidelity Investments announced plans to liquidate five ETFs: Fidelity Disruptive Finance ETF (FDFF), Fidelity Disruptive Medicine ETF (FMED), Fidelity Disruptors ETF (FDIF), Fidelity Metaverse ETF (FMET), and Fidelity Real Estate Investment ETF (FPRO). The funds are expected to cease trading after November 12, 2026, with liquidation scheduled for approximately November 19. FDFF, FMED, FDIF, and FMET currently trade on Nasdaq, while FPRO is listed on Cboe. Shareholders can sell their holdings until the final trading date, after which the funds will transition toward cash and other liquid assets ahead of liquidation. Fidelity said the closures are part of its regular product review process to align its ETF lineup with evolving investor demand. As of September 30, 2026, Fidelity managed $189 billion across more than 80 ETFs and ETPs.
