Amplify Files Sports Ownership ETF With Private Market Exposure

The Amplify Pro Sports Private & Public Ownership ETF (PROS) will offer exposure to companies that own or operate professional sports teams, leagues and venues. The actively-managed fund expects its public holdings to largely mirror the VettaFi Sports Index, covering owners tied to major sports including baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, motorsports and horse racing. Notably, the ETF may allocate up to 15% of net assets to private investments, potentially providing exposure to privately held franchises and other sports assets through direct investments or private funds. At least 80% of assets will provide exposure to professional sports ownership, creating a public-private approach to investing in sports franchises and infrastructure.
