Mackenzie Keeps ETF Strategy Intact After Portfolio Manager Exit
Mackenzie Investments said portfolio manager Tyler Hewlett will leave the firm on Oct.
AllianceBernstein has appointed Paul Donohoe as senior vice president and global head of ETF operations, tasking the former BlackRock director with scaling its ETF platform and expanding its European presence. London-based Donohoe joins from Bloomberg but previously spent more than 16 years at BlackRock, where he helped design and launch complex ETFs and supported transformation across the iShares platform. The hire follows AllianceBernstein’s European ETF debut in April with three active funds. Its more established US active ETF platform has already grown to $19bn in assets.
