AllianceBernstein has launched the AB US Research Advanced ETF (RADD), an actively managed equity fund combining fundamental research with quantitative portfolio construction. The ETF invests at least 80% of its assets in U.S. equities, primarily targeting large-cap companies while retaining flexibility to invest in smaller and international stocks. Its investment process integrates overweight positions from AllianceBernstein’s value, core and growth strategies with proprietary quantitative models that score securities based on expected returns, quality, profitability, valuation and momentum. A portfolio optimization framework balances these signals against diversification and risk constraints, managing individual stock weights, sector exposures and factor allocations relative to the S&P 500. The fund is classified as non-diversified, allowing greater concentration in individual issuers. RADD has an expense ratio of 0.25%.
