AdvisorShares announced plans to liquidate the AdvisorShares Hotel ETF (BEDZ) and AdvisorShares VICE ETF (VICE) following approval by the trust’s board. Both funds are expected to cease operations and distribute liquidation proceeds to shareholders on or about August 28, 2026. The last day of trading on NYSE Arca is expected to be August 21, 2026, after which shares will no longer trade in the secondary market. As the funds wind down, they may depart from their stated investment strategies. Remaining shareholders will receive a cash distribution based on each fund’s net asset value, and the liquidation may result in taxable consequences.
