xETFs has filed for two actively managed ETFs designed to provide targeted exposure to South Korea’s largest business groups. One fund would invest across the Samsung Group ecosystem, including semiconductors, consumer electronics, biotechnology, financial services, and technology services, while the other would focus on Hyundai Motor Group and HD Hyundai Group companies involved in automobiles, electric vehicles, robotics, shipbuilding, industrial equipment, and energy infrastructure. Both funds may use Korean-listed shares, ADRs, GDRs, ETFs, and swaps, with portfolio construction based on proprietary weighting methodologies. The filings highlight growing interest in single-conglomerate investment strategies that offer concentrated exposure to South Korea’s leading corporate networks.
