UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Vanguard has launched its first floating-rate bond ETF on the ASX, with VFLT offering diversified exposure to mainly investment-grade Australian corporate floating-rate notes. The ETF charges 0.15% annually and distributes income monthly. Because coupons adjust with prevailing interest rates, VFLT offers lower duration risk than traditional fixed-rate bonds while potentially delivering higher income when rates rise. The launch comes amid strong Australian demand for fixed-income ETFs and diversified credit strategies.
