Tema Launches Two Active Commodity ETFs on Texas Stock Exchange

Tema ETFs has launched two actively managed commodity-focused ETFs on the Texas Stock Exchange: the Tema Commodity Income ETF (ICOM) and Tema Commodity Infrastructure ETF (THRU). ICOM invests in dividend-paying companies across energy, precious and base metals, and agriculture, combining income generation with commodity exposure. THRU targets companies supporting commodity infrastructure, including energy transportation, mining services, logistics, and exchanges, with a focus on durable cash flows. Both funds offer Form 1099 tax reporting without Schedule K-1 requirements. The launches coincide with the appointment of Jake Sperber, formerly of Nuveen and Cargill, as Tema's Head of Commodities. The expansion follows a period of growth for Tema, which surpassed $5 billion in assets under management in June 2026, three years after launching its first ETFs.
