UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
State Street Investment Management has launched its first actively managed ETFs in Australia, introducing the State Street Blackstone Senior Loan Active ETF (SBSL) and State Street Blackstone High Income Active ETF (SBHI) on ASX. The feeder funds invest in Blackstone-subadvised US ETFs SRLN and HYBL, providing access to senior loans and high-yield corporate credit. State Street said growing demand for active fixed-income strategies and the phase-out of bank hybrids are driving investor interest in alternative income solutions. The launch also expands State Street’s partnership with Blackstone and broadens access to global liquid credit markets in Australia.
