SMART has updated the portfolio construction methodologies of its SMART Small Cap ETF (SSCP) and SMART Mid Cap ETF (SMCP), effective November 2, 2026. SSCP will weight holdings using third-party proprietary metrics incorporating price-to-earnings ratios and historical stock price retracements, with individual positions capped at 7% and sector exposure limited to 28% of assets. SMCP will use metrics emphasizing historical retracements and current price trend strength, with individual holdings capped at 8% and sector allocations restricted to 25%. Both ETFs will maintain a maximum 10% allocation to real estate investment trusts (REITs). The revised methodologies establish distinct valuation and momentum considerations for the two strategies while maintaining position and sector concentration limits.
