Roundhill Files for ETF Targeting CPU Makers and Designers
Roundhill has filed for the Roundhill CPU ETF (XCPU), an actively managed fund targeting companies deriving at least 50% of revenues from central processing…
Roundhill has filed for 30 ETFs, one for each MLB team, seeking capital appreciation through financial instruments referencing CME FSPI MLB team indexes. The funds would gain exposure partly through wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiaries. The indexes measure on-field performance using official game statistics, with positive and negative actions moving values throughout the regular season and postseason. Each starts at 7,500 before the season and resets after the postseason. Returns would therefore be linked to teams’ sporting results, rather than franchise valuations. The filing also notes that quarter-end reductions in subsidiary exposure could cause funds to fall short of their investment objectives.
