Roundhill has filed for 32 actively managed ETFs, one for every NHL team, including the Maple Leafs, Rangers, Bruins, Oilers, Panthers, Golden Knights and others. Each fund will gain exposure through swaps or futures to a team-specific CME FSPI NHL index that rises or falls based on 55 official on-ice performance measures during regular-season and playoff games. The indexes incorporate live statistics, with postseason performance receiving greater weight, and reset after each season. The ETFs provide financial exposure to team performance without ownership in the teams themselves.
