REX Shares has launched the REX AI Chipmaking ETF (CHIP), targeting global suppliers of equipment used to manufacture AI chips. Listed on Nasdaq with a 0.65% expense ratio, the fund tracks the VettaFi AI Chipmaking Index, which allocates 50% to wafer fabrication equipment, 25% to advanced packaging and 25% to metrology, the tools used to measure and inspect chip production. The index held 55 constituents as of August 31, 2026, with individual weights capped at 5% at quarterly rebalances. Its global scope includes Japanese and Dutch companies such as Tokyo Electron, Advantest, ASML and Besi. The strategy offers focused exposure to toolmakers supplying the foundries and memory manufacturers supporting AI expansion.
