flatexDEGIRO teams with DWS on two co-branded ETFs
flatexDEGIRO has partnered with DWS to develop two co-branded Xtrackers ETFs covering diversified global equities and euro bonds, according to Luxembourg registrations.
The Northern Trust Equity Income ETF (QDFI) will focus on generating high current income while seeking long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the actively-managed fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in income-producing equity securities, including dividend-paying common and preferred stocks. Stock selection is driven by Northern Trust's proprietary quantitative model, which screens for companies with strong profitability, management efficiency, and cash generation before balancing quality, dividend yield, and portfolio diversification. The fund may use stock index futures and other derivatives to equitize cash and improve liquidity, while maintaining exposure to income-producing equities. Although broadly diversified, the portfolio may hold more than 15% of assets in a single sector when warranted and currently has a significant allocation to information technology.
