UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Nissay Asset Management listed the Nissay ETF TOPIX (Quarterly settlement type) on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on September 8, 2026, under code 630A. The ETF seeks to track the TOPIX Total Return Index, providing broad exposure to Japanese equities while incorporating dividends. It primarily holds index constituents in proportions reflecting their free-float market capitalizations and may use index futures to help limit tracking deviations. The quarterly settlement structure offers investors a new TOPIX-tracking option, though fees, trading costs, cash holdings and market liquidity can cause performance to diverge from the benchmark.
