UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
MFS has launched two actively managed short-duration fixed income ETFs: the MFS Active Short Muni Bond ETF (MFSX) and MFS Active Short Duration Income ETF (MFSD). MFSX normally invests at least 80% of assets in federally tax-exempt municipal instruments and maintains portfolio duration of no more than three years. MFSD invests across government, corporate, securitized and other debt, targeting duration within one year of the Bloomberg 1-5 Year Government/Credit Bond Index. Both primarily hold investment-grade debt, can invest in below-investment-grade securities and use MFS’s fundamental, bottom-up security selection process.
