Carne Hires ETF Veteran to Expand Capital Markets and Distribution
Carne Group has appointed Keshava Shastry as chief capital markets and distribution officer and a member of its executive committee.
Mackenzie Investments said portfolio manager Tyler Hewlett will leave the firm on Oct. 9, 2026, for a new opportunity. The firm says its Quality Equity Team’s investment process will remain unchanged, with Shah Khan and Dave Taylor continuing to oversee affected funds. The Mackenzie Bluewater Next Gen Growth ETF, previously co-managed by Hewlett, will remain under Taylor with support from the broader team. Mackenzie managed about C$270 billion in assets as of Aug. 31.
